About EDC Cycling.

EDC Cycling has been created by Eric De Clercq. He grew up at the base of the Valkenberg, and inevitably cycling was in his blood. He raced in junior and elite categories until 1990 when he got his first pro contract.
From 1991 to 2002 he was a pro rider and joined the teams La William-Duvel (1991 - 1993) and Collstrop (1994 - 2002) together with big names such as Jo Planckaert, Adrie Vanderpoel, Johan Capiot and Peter Van Petegem.

After retiring from pro peleton he became a freelance health coach for teams Lotto - Belisol and Saxo Bank. From 2004 to 2007 he became a Director Sportive for the Flanders Women’s Pro Team (Topsports vlaanderen).

In 2008 he graduated as Cycling initiator at the Flemish Trainers school.

Thanks to this knowledge and experience he decided to start in 2008 with guided cycling-trips in Belgium and the rest of Europe. Together with his team of skilled guides he will help you have a memorable cycling experience.
